highdrater
Recommendation 1: Change passive from 20% time under 30% hp to a simpler passive of (5+(10/18)*LVL) % evasion and call it “Trickery” -Vergil already has a Michael Jordan sized leap and an ult in terms of positioning and getting away. In other words, his survivability is superb as it is without the 20% time and it makes him near to impossible to kill unless you have his hard counters like rancor or cyprus. Jaysi
^ Correct Though I'm not sure how this will affect his E ability... As for a replacement for his Heroic passive... I can't really think of anything that would synergize well with his skills and not give him more mobility/escape off the top of my head...

I can't really think of anything that would synergize well with his skills and not give him more mobility/escape off the top of my head... If in doubt, give him massive CDR...like Cyprus... But on a serious note, why not give him something that will reduce enemy Time by say 3-5% everytime he deals spell damage that lasts for 3 seconds and stacks up to 3 times? It would work well with his current skills.

Lottski
rofl superheated mantle with his passive is way more broken then the 20% -50% physical dmg Didnt think about SHM. That would be quite broken. Too bad too, I think something like this would have been quite an interesting passive.
xSEnergy
Hmm also the reason evasion is removed is because the developers don't want an attribute that is left to random chance. It'll be based more on "luck" than "skill"

ACiDPhoenix
Except he doesn't always evade every attack. For instance, you can't evade Raynor's ulti with it. Also if Boros has spellstorm and omnislash going, his omni's don't hit, but he's still teleporting onto you so the SS hits. When I read "100% evasion", I assume that means what it says (but it doesn't). There's numerous more, but they're not coming to mind.

It doesn't work since the game will be taking another direction. Also the only time his evasion doesn't evade is if there is true damage. Someone had said previously cannons can still hit you even if you evade.

Evasion has always meant evade physical attacks and the procs form those attacks. It has never worked for spell damage and shouldn't.
FruitNinja
No, we do not need another passive stat boost. Vergil's current passive is unique and fits his character of being elusive.
BestZeratul
Just make his dmg reduction only proc with physical instead of spell damage because it is way too strong atm (vergil rushes SHM and with an ult he hits whole team when Erekul's E does the same on a single target). BestZeratul in the upcoming patch, it will proc only on spell or physical damage, which is perfectly fine. The issue is now, with an SHM, you have a -50% weapon damage aura of 5 units. The way Red has it in the next patch, it will be perfectly fine. Yes he will still be able to apply a -50% weapon damage to your whole team if he ultis and hits all of you, but the effect only lasts a few seconds and how many AA heroes are you gonna have on any given team that really get hurt by this? Seems hypo"crit"ical to me lol, i think the same, if evasion will be removed because its "random" then remove the crit chance -.- evasion is very nice in this game, even when you only have the 9% from talents
