Bion.Carnivora

HSJGD.png

The last of a rare species of carnivorous plant normally adapted to preying on the common Holstein Cow, Carnivora was infected with the Zerg evolutionary virus when he attempted to eat an infestor. Being a plant, she was mostly immune to the effects on the nervous systems, but gained massive regenerative and adaptive capabilities from borrowed genetic material.

Germination [Heroic Passive]

Carnivora's attacks sow infectious seeds that grow inside their targets, dealing 10+5*LVL (+10% INT) True Damage over 4 seconds. If the target dies while the seed grows, the seed will sprout into a small version of whatever plant Bion is currently holding (20% life, damage, and healing).

Fruit Tips:

-This is a nice damage steroi for the mid game.

-Building weapon damage for your W also benefits this passive.

-Use minithorns in a lane to restore your health very quickly.

-Minicarnivoras are fun.

Overgrowth [Q]

Mana Cost: 15%

Cooldown: 25/23/21/19

Range: 6.5

Bion sends vines to engulf the targeted area (2 units across), rooting all enemy units in place for 2.25 seconds.

If Bion is holding a plant, the plant will be placed at the targeted area as soon as the effect is started.

Level 1: 1 second cast time.

Level 2: 0.75 second cast time.

Level 3: 0.5 second cast time.

Level 4: 0.25 second cast time.

Fruit Tips:

-This can be used for getting first blood since it roots for so long.

-Remember that your target can still attack and cast. Don't use this on unix while he saps.

-Don't ever open a fight with this unless a) you really need it or b) you have a plant ready.

Bloom [W]

Mana Cost: 25/20/15/10%

Cooldown: 10/9/8/7

Bion conjures a Gatlingseed, which functions as a turret on top of him until placed with Overgrowth.

Gatlingseeds are ranged plants with a rage of 4.5 with Physical attacks that can critically strike, but do not apply On-Hit effects.

Gatlingseeds last 20 seconds.

Level 1: 100 (+5% of maximum life) life, 20 (+60% Weapon Damage) Physical Damage, 100% of Bion's weapon speed.

Level 2: 200 (+5% of maximum life) life, 40 (+60% Weapon Damage) Physical Damage, 120% of Bion's weapon speed.

Level 3: 300 (+5% of maximum life) life, 60 (+60% Weapon Damage) Physical Damage, 140% of Bion's weapon speed.

Level 4: 400 (+5% of maximum life) life, 80 (+60% Weapon Damage) Physical Damage, 160% of Bion's weapon speed.

Fruit Tips:

-These are Bion's main DPS late-game.

-Protect them and spread them out because they have no Spell Resist.

-Building weapon speed is very viable with these.

Bloodthorn [E]

Mana Cost: 15%

Cooldown: 10/9/8/7

Bion conjures a bloodthorn, which grants him 14+2*LVL Lifesteal while on top of him.

Bloodthorns deal Physical damage to nearby enemies each second, healing themselves and Bion for 10% of the damage done. Affected enemies are slowed by 30%. Wounded (<40% life) enemies are slowed by an additional 30%.

Bloodthorns last 20 seconds.

Level 1: 125 (+5% of maximum life) life, 40 (+50% INT) Physical Damage, 5 armor.

Level 2: 250 (+5% of maximum life) life, 65 (+50% INT) Physical Damage, 10 armor.

Level 3: 375 (+5% of maximum life) life, 90 (+50% INT) Physical Damage, 15 armor.

Level 4: 500 (+5% of maximum life) life, 115 (+50% INT) Physical Damage, 20 armor.

Fruit Tips:

-Place these behind the enemy team to catch runners.

-Use these to heal while laning.

-Place one on top of yourself when being attacked by a shadow.

Carnivora [ultimate]

Mana Cost: 25%

Cooldown: 80/65/50

Bion conjures a Carnivora, which causes him to burrow. He can unburrow anywhere within a range of 8 units, stunning affected units for 0.5 seconds.

Carnivoras are vicious cloaked plants which drag nearby creeps to their doom (instantly killing them when they reach the center of the plant, healing itself and Bion for 20% of the unit's maximum life), and disabling the Carnivora for 1 second. If a hero comes within 5 units, the hero is immobilized and dragged into the center, which then deals Spell Damage and stuns the enemy for 1.5 seconds. The Carnivora is disabled for 15 seconds after this attack.

Carnivoras last 60 seconds.

*Note: Carnivoras are spawned AFTER the cast time on Overgrowth, not before, like the other plants.

Level 1: 800 (+20% of maximum life) life, 100 (+80% INT) Spell Damage, 35% spell resist.

Level 2: 1600 (+20% of maximum life) life, 200 (+80% INT) Spell Damage, 45% damage resist.

Level 3: 2400 (+20% of maximum life) life, 300 (+80% INT) Spell Damage, 55% damage resist.

Fruit Tips:

-Use these to surprise your target.

-Build CDR to easily have more than one plant out at a time.

-The plants can also farm very well.

Really nice hero. Few questions though.

Do mini plants spawned by his heroic passive gve a duration?

Are Carnivoras disabled when they kill creeps, or do they simply oneshot every creep that walks on it?

Can Carnivoras be spawned on top of the hero?

Do Gatlings proc item effects?

Can he hold multiple plants? Double Gatling would be super OP. Well, double anything would be pretty OP.

Also, the hp of his plants is pretty high. They'd take quite a few hits from spells or AAs to kill.

I'm not sure whether it's a typo, but the scaling from level 3 to 4 for Bloom is extremely sharp. 140%->260% weapon speed.

Bloodthorns are really powerful. The damage they deal would let hit decimate creep waves, and the slow would make it pretty hard to escape from him. I suggest reducing the damage to 50/75/100/125. I know it's physical damage, but it's still quite a large amount if you tack on the INT scaling, easily surpassing a geared Drake's matyr in most situations even if you take into account the damage reduction from armor. And Drakes matyr doesn't have a slow, drains his own life an doesn't lifesteal.

Same duration as the normal plant. They already lose 80% of their stats, so nerfing the duration would be overkill.

It takes a few seconds to drag the creep into the center. I'll add a delay of 1 second between creep grabs.

Can Carnivoras be spawned on top of the hero?

Ooh, good idea.

Do Gatlings proc item effects?

No, this would be insanely powerful. Stun baton OP.

Can he hold multiple plants? Double Gatling would be super OP. Well, double anything would be pretty OP.

Nope, it's a temporary buff that translates into a plant being created and the buff being consumed.

Also, the hp of his plants is pretty high. They'd take quite a few hits from spells or AAs to kill.

Bloodthorns are meant to be harder to kill since they're melee range. I think gatlingseeds are OP at the moment, so I might lower the hp on them. Now that I look at it, all of them have a lot of health since they also have armor.

Whoops.

Nerfing it right now.
