Script: Zergate jones has created a new form of martial arts that combines zerg strength with karate. However most of his pupils just want to slash and mangle the opponents. He has learned only hybrid beings can master this technique. He has come to this sanctum to perfect his talent and to find possible recruits.

Abilities :Heroic Passive: Pow

Whenever Jones uses an ability his next attack will push back the opponent 1 yard and slow movement speed by 30% for 1 seconds. Stacks up to 3. So using a combo of 3 abilities will push back the player 3 yards and slow 90% for 3 seconds.

Ability One (Q): Dashing Strike

Energy Cost: 70/80/90/100

Cooldown: 30/25/20/15

Range: Jones charges up to the target unleashing a fury of multiple strikes.

 

Level 1: Deals 90(+30%Weapon Damage) charges from 3 yards away and strikes the target. After Striking Jones gains 10% evasion for 3 seconds.

Level 2: Deals 110(+30%Weapon Damage) charges from 3 yards away and strikes the target. After Striking Jones gains 15% evasion for 3 seconds.

Level 3: Deals 140(+30%Weapon Damage) charges from 3 yards away and strikes the target. After Striking Jones gains 20% evasion for 3 seconds.

Level 4: Deals 170(+30%Weapon Damage) charges from 3 yards away and strikes the target. After Striking Jones gains 25% evasion for 3 seconds.

Ability two: Ake Zuki

Jones uppercuts the opponent knocking them to the ground and stunning them for a duration.

Energy Cost: 60/70/80/90

Cooldown: 40/34/27/20

Range: 1

Level 1: Deals 70(+30%Weapon Damage) and knocks the opponent off his feet, when the opponent lands he is stunned for 1 second.

Level 2: Deals 110(+30%Weapon Damage) and knocks the opponent off his feet, when the opponent lands he is stunned for 1.5 second.

Level 3: Deals 130(+30%Weapon Damage) and knocks the opponent off his feet, when the opponent lands he is stunned for 2 second.

Level 4: Deals 170(+30%Weapon Damage) and knocks the opponent off his feet, when the opponent lands he is stunned for 2.5 seconds.

 

Note: Knocking opponent to the ground just lifts the opponent off the ground and lands exactly in same position.

Ability Three: Wado Ryu

Jones mastered the ability to dodge the opponents blows.

Cooldown: 15/12/9/6

Level 1: Increases evasion by 3% and dodging attacks increases attack speed by 10% for 3 seconds.

Level 2: Increases evasion by 6% and dodging attacks increases attack speed by 15% for 3 seconds.

Level 3: Increases evasion by 9% and dodging attacks increases attack speed by 20% for 3 seconds.

Level 4: Increases evasion by 12% and dodging attacks increases attack speed by 25% for 3 seconds.

Ultimate Ability: Exploding Palm

Jones strikes the opponent with such force that it damages the opponent from inside to the outside of their body.

Energy Cost: 150/200/250

Cooldown: 100/80/60

Range: n/a

Level 1: deals 190(+50%Weapon Damage) if the opponent is under 14% health they will explode dealing an additional 250 AoE damage. AoE range 3.

Level 2: deals 230(+50%Weapon Damage) if the opponent is under 17% health they will explode dealing an additional 375 AoE damage. AoE range 3.

Level 3: deals 270(+50%Weapon Damage) if the opponent is under 20% health they will explode dealing an additional 500 AoE damage. AoE range 3.

 

Any ideas on what model to use for this character?

i know it seems tempting to make an ability scale with strength but it just doesnt end up working as they end up as really tanky and doing large ammounts of dmg, i would suggest changing them to int or weapon dmg on some of them.

 

with the ulti i think it would be cool that if the hero dies within .5 seconds of this move(as in u get a kill with it or are very very close) it would then deal massive aoe dmg. so i would slightly buff the dmg on the ulti to maybe 120/200/280 (+50%weapon dmg) then if u get the kill it deals somthing like 300/400/500(+100%weapon dmg) dmg in a 3-4 range aoe

 

u can use evasion but ecko wants to not make it something someone relies on (he took all the evasion items out of the game) but it still exists in the defense talent tree.

Ulti is pretty nice

 

I think Ancient Apparition's ulti from DotA is similar to Zergate.Jones

Ice_Blast_icon.png Ability Affects Damage Target Point Enemy Units Magical

An explosive ball of icy hail that can be used to strike targets anywhere on the map. On first use, Kaldr launches a tracer towards the targeted location. The second use marks the current location of the blast, upon which the actual projectile is launched - the greater the distance, the larger the radius affected. It deals damage to enemy units and applies a frostbite curse to units in and around the area that prevents regeneration or healing. Frostbitten units will take minor damage over time; if the units drop below a certain percentage of HP, they'll instantly shatter. Range: Global

Frostbite Damage: 12.5/20/32

HP for Kill: 10%/11%/12%

Damage: 250/350/450 Cooldown_icon.png 45 Mana_icon.png 100/125/150 Ice storms from ages past flow through Kaldr's frosty limbs, crashing into the world and turning its inhabitants into monuments to his eternal power.

 

 

Notes:

  • The radius for the damage is 225+50*TimeTraveled capped at 1000, The radius for HP freeze is 275 along the path of the second projectile and upon the final strike area.

  • First projectile has a 1500 movement speed, stops when the caster dies or casts the second part of the skill

  • First projectile clears fog in a 500 radius circle at its end.

  • Kill will be granted to the source of the damage that triggers the shatter.

  • Fatal damage is 100000000 physical and clears all buffs prior damaging.

  • The instant kill does not work on Illusions or Meepo clones.

  • HP freeze prevents all kinds of healing including those from skills or items.

  • The frozen buff can be purged, and the shatter damage will not kill you if you are affected by Shallow Grave.
