I've dropped dozens of times for the greater good, but I am noticing a trend... The lobby leaves. This is someone who should be the dropper but leaves the lobby when its almost full so he can dupe someone else into being the dropper.... He means that while in lobby, waiting for the game to begin, the one who is in team one, leaves and then rejoin so he can play instead of being the dropper.
