Bigp Posted September 6, 2012 Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 With Kerigan I can maybe get 1 attack off every 3-4 attacks done by shadow. Items I was using at time were Pyre and Ravager. What happens that i've noticed is everytime the shadow steps, my hero walks to that location then to the next instead of just simply attacking. Not 100% sure if its a bug or not but should be addressed imo. Also another thing can't seem to attack shadow while his ULT is up even next to tower or with truesite elixir. CapricorN Posted September 6, 2012 Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 Shadows ult now don't cloak shadow, it blind all units in its range(give 0 sight range). So truesight won't help(towers also). Counter will be active talent in utility tree (recon?), rancors scan or if some1 stay out of ult's range and "lights battle field". About shadow vs kerry....hmmm... xSEnergy Posted September 6, 2012 Report Share Posted September 6, 2012 Going off of what Capricorn says. The reason your Kerrigan is not hitting is because you cannot see Shadow. The occasional hits that you do get off is probably Shadow jumping out of the small area where there is no visibility. To counter Shadow's ulti, you need a boundary scanner or rancor's scan or recon from the talent chart. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Finishing off what the other two said, you are likely attacking shadow once for every 3 of his attacks because he has higher attack speed than you do. Attack speed is gained from items, and agility. Now as far as not being able to attack, would you like me to submit the repaly if i still have it?? I know and understand weapon speed is from agility+items but when i'm using pyre which is 25% and Arcbound Ravager which is 35% My attack rate vs shadow was extremely slow compared to attacking a different hero or creeps. Instead of my hero auto attacking she was walking then maybe attacking. In the previous patch I didn't have this same problem agaisnt shadow. Not exactly sure which new items would take away item speed besides Dark Steel Titan and Chilling Artifact. In any case not sure why a Shadow would get those items LOL. Also Shrapnel Cloak removes the weapon of the hero, which renders a unit useless when Shrapnel is used. You should definitely check the item build that Shadow used. Bigp Posted September 8, 2012 Author Report Share Posted September 8, 2012 Watched replay and shadow didn't have any -attack speed items, and no Jaysi wasn't holding hold fire. :P Happened a few times to me in the game I even mentioned something to the shadow and he saw me move instead of attack, and replied it has happened before in previous patches to where the person would move to where the shadow stepped instead of attacking.
