Cerebro

- Added 2 second cooldown to proc.

 

Glutton's Bite

- Active Lifesteal reduced to 25%, down from 50%.

 

Darwin's Might

- Active Lifesteal reduced to 50%, down from 100%.

 

Gravity Edge

- Movement Speed bonus decreased to 6%, down from 8%.

- Now converts 35% of Spell Damage to True Damage, down from 50%.

 

 

 

Geminus.Boros

- Psionic Bola range reduced to 7/8/9/10 from 9/10/11/12.

- Bola damage increased to 90/160/230/300 from 60/70/80/90.

- Double Strike no longer grants Crit Damage.

- Double Strike Crit Chance bonus increased to 14/20/26/32%, up from 10/15/20/25%.

 

Terra.Nova

- Ill Intent now removes all charges on a Critical Hit.

- Ill Intent now recharges every 6 seconds.

- Ill Intent Crit Damage bonus increased to 8/12/16/20%, up from 4/8/12/16%.

Gameplay

- Added test mode. If all players in a game type "-tm", admin commands become available to all players.

- Hold Fire no longer also Holds Position. This was applied to fix the "Stop Glitch". To hold position, use "H". We might be switching the hotkeys for hold fire and hold position in the very near future, just keep an eye out.

:Eternal Drive: +300 Health, +5x Health Regen, +3x Energy Regen, +20 Weapon Damage, [unique] You and nearby allies gain +5 Health Regen and +3 Energy Regen. [Active] Heal nearby allies in a 10-unit radius for 20% of their Maximum Health over 10 seconds. 60 second cooldown.

Silver Soul: +350 Energy, +20% Spell Resist, [unique] Each time you use an ability, you and nearby allies in a 10-unit radius gain +15% Movement Speed for 6 seconds.

Masamune: +20% Cooldown Reduction, +8% Movement Speed, +100 Weapon Damage, -20% Spell and Physical Damage Resist [unique] Each time you attack, you gain +5% Time Scale for 3 seconds, up to 15% Time Scale.

Shinobi Style: +40 Agility, +450 Health, +40 Weapon Damage, [Active] Cloaks the user and grants +20% Movement Speed for up to 10 seconds. Dispels on attack or spellcast. 20 second cooldown.

Phantom Menace: +50 Agility, +8% Movement Speed, [unique] You gain +15% Movement Speed while there are no enemy Heroes in a 7-unit radius.

Khaydarin Absorber: +30 Strength, +30 Agility, +30 Intelligence, [unique] Whenever a non-Heroic unit dies within a 10-unit radius, you Heal for 80 Health and recover 40 Energy.

Star's Fury: +30 Agility, +30 Intelligence, +250 Energy, +15% Cooldown Reduction, +30% Weapon Speed, [unique] Using an ability causes your next attack to deal an additional (+100% INT) Spell Damage.

Miner's Goggles: +280 Health, [unique] You gain 5 Minerals every 10 seconds.

Leeching Saber: +15% Lifesteal, [unique] You gain 5 Minerals every 10 seconds.

Blue Gene: +250 Energy, +10% Cooldown Reduction, [unique] Each time you get a Kill or Assist, you gain +20 INT, stacking up to 5 times. All stacks are lost upon death.

Olympic Torch: +300 Health, +10% Spell Resist, [unique] Each time you get a Kill or Assist, you gain +15 STR, stacking up to 5 times. All stacks are lost upon death.

Shadowmourne: +450 Energy, +6% Movement Speed, +20% Weapon Speed, +20% Crit Chance, [unique] Your attacks against Heroes spawn a shadow of the target for 3.5 seconds. The shadow follows the target around, dealing 80% of it's Weapon Damage.

Small Hadron Collider: +450 Health, +6% Time Scale, [Active] Teleport an 9-unit distance, then Stuns nearby enemies in a 3-unit radius for 1 second. 30 second cooldown.

Agressor's Guise: +25 Strength, +60 Agility, +20% Cooldown Reduction, +6% Movement Speed,

Sliptide Scythe: +50 Agility, +18% Spell Resist, [unique] Your attacks grant yourself +12% Spell Resist and +6% Movement Speed for 3 seconds.

Lethal Barb: +40 Agility, +20% Crit Chance, [unique] Your Critical Strikes boost your Weapon Speed by 100% for 2 seconds.

Symphonic Seed: +50 Intelligence, +250 Health, [unique] Each time you get a Kill or Assist, recover 20% of your Maximum Energy and gain +50% Cooldown Reduction for 10 seconds.

Cerebro: +75 Intelligence, +22% Crit Chance, [unique] Your Critical Strikes reduce all of your ability cooldowns by 4 seconds.

Shrink Ray: +60 Intelligence, +20% Weapon Speed, [unique] Your attacks reduce the target's Weapon Damage by 35% for 3 seconds.

Hive Symbiosis: +50 Agility, +15% Lifesteal, [unique] Nearby allied units in a 10-unit radius Heal you for 6% of their Physical Damage dealt.

Kinetic Battery: +20 Agility, +250 Energy, +2x Energy Regen, +20 Weapon Damage, [unique] You and nearby allies in a 10-unit radius gain +2 Energy Regen. [Active] Restore 250 Energy to yourself and nearby allies in a 10-unit radius. 40 second cooldown.

Mechanics

- Added Cooldown Reduction. Each percentage point of Cooldown Reduction causes your cooldowns to tick faster.

- Replaced all current Time Scale with Cooldown Reduction (the attribute no longer affects weapon speed caps and regeneration rates).

- "Time" has been relabeled to "Time Scale" (Time Scale is now the highest value attribute, affecting your character's game clock). The effect of Time Scale on cooldowns compounds linearly with Cooldown Reduction.

- Heals are now accounted for, which means we can now add effects that boost or reduce Healing.

- Regeneration is now categorized as Reliable Healing (can never be reduced).

- Physical Leech renamed to Lifesteal.

- Spell Leech has been removed.

- All items now share the same cooldown (stacking item actives will give no strategic benefit).

- Base Movement Speed of all characters have been increased by 0.5.

- Base Critical Strike Damage increased to 150%, up from 125%.

 

Time Scale

- Time Scale on talents and abilities refer to the old version of Time Scale. Talent vocabulary will be updated in the next patch.

 

Tychus.Findlay

- Ability toolkit reworked to improve performance and active gameplay.

Is the bonus Spell damage from Star's Fury going to stack with the bonus Spell damage from BHM? Or has BHM been reworked? If they do stack, then I can see Raynor with both Star's Fury and a BHM then getting a Gravity Edge... that would be one powerful shot haha ^_^ Mark a squishy then one shot them hahahaha.

Boros' omni bonus damage was also reduced from 150 to 125. Thats all i can think of.

 

 

Is the bonus Spell damage from Star's Fury going to stack with the bonus Spell damage from BHM? Or has BHM been reworked? If they do stack, then I can see Raynor with both Star's Fury and a BHM then getting a Gravity Edge... that would be one powerful shot haha ^_^ Mark a squishy then one shot them hahahaha.

When is SEA going to get patch?

 

Not for a while. This patch only applies to NA because it was released as a hotfix to the NA lag issues. The items' balance remains to be seen.

So I have a question regarding the removal of old timescale from all items

Is springrockets attack speed based on cooldown reduction now or is he just screwed till the next patch??

 

 

Also FWIW 5 mins every 10 seconds on miner goggles and the like = 900 mins for 30 mins, since the item costs 800 you are waiting a very long time to make that back, perhaps a tweak to the time is in order??

but why Cerebro was changed into 4 sec cd reduction? Its going to be a joke on Boros. It also going to be broken on Nova as she going to be able consume her crit passive 5 times in row...

garamonds "attack" is really just a skill on a very short cooldown that summons scvs. and then when you try to attack someone, if you have scvs, they will fly out and do damage. This is why a silence will prevent him from attacking, because it stops his ability to use the summon scv skill, as well as destroying any scvs currently attached to him

 

thus cooldown reduction should still increase his "attack" speed. along that train of thought.... symphonic seed, which gives 50% cooldown reduction whenever you get an assist or kill, should be a fairly nice pick up on garamond.

 

the 5 mineral per 10 seconds (gp10 items) do take a while to pay themselves back, but they also build into very useful items. (hand of mengsk, spell buffer, superheated mantle, and darksteel titan) and therefore actually pay for themselves much faster then you think

Again, Cerebro will probably be adjusted. this patch was crapped out asap because the lag fix, not because the items were particularly ready or balanced. Along that same train of thought, i don't believe ekcol intends on applyign the patch to any region other then NA until further balancing is done.

I think his SCV spawn is kind of ability so his 'attack speed' should scale with current cooldown reduction. Otherwise he would need some scaling with his level.

Items with this unique are really fine. U may thing it doesn't give much, but it is very 'touchable' during the game. U gain minerals much faster and item itself give additional helpful utility for almost no price. Along with similar talent u would get quite noticeable advantage in compare to heroes which haven't both

Lethal Barb and Cerebro need to be reworked or Nova/Boros needs to be reworked.

 

Critical strike has a tenuous presence in this game, because they synergize too well with these two heroes. Their passives work a little too well with Crit, causing them to be OP when crit is viable on anyone else.

 

Nova basically consistently has 100% bonus attack speed with her guarenteed crit, and Cerebro makes it so that Boro's ult doesn't have any cooldown during the late game, at least from what I'm reading.

 

Edit: Hmm ok, maybe it's not that big of a deal for either of them, since the attack speed cap isn't that hard to reach now that time scale is reworked. Time will tell. Cerebro is still rather strong on Boros though imo.
