timiaus Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 Not sure if its just tonight or that i changed my Display Mode to Fullscreen, NOT Window(Fullscreen), but for my last 7 games ive had no lag at all. All of the games lasting well over 40min+. As soon as i changed those settings i had no lag the next game i played that last over an hour, though i did see some ppl complain of lag even though i had none. So maybe its just me or just a goodnight going on here, but plz try and just change that setting and see if it helps any, post if u see any improvement or none at all. Or if ur no longer lagging at all with outmakeing any changes, which would mean that blizz might of fixed something lol. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lOvOl Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 Sorry, but first game I played there was no lag. Everything was smooth but game ended quickly because a lot of people quit. Starting FPS was 140 something hovering over F10 and 70 something when using CONTROL+ALT+F. Every game after that regardless of whether I relogged or exited SCII and restarted the SCII client had me with a starting FPS of around 70 when hovering over F10 and 70 something when using CONTROL+ALT+F. After that I called it a night. Another player told me that games are totally random as to whether there will be game breaking lag or not. So I have no idea what Blizzard is doing on their end (if anything) and whether or not I had 5 minutes of a lag free game for the first time in almost two weeks had anything to do with Blizz's efforts, but things are still bad enough I am not gonna bother playing till they figure this stuff out and if they never figure it out, well then it was nice knowing you all (-: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's hilarious that you refuse to play at 70. I think he says that for change he is not experimenting any lag. Regardless of that i've had 138 fps in mid quality / Low shaders and it still felt like 1 ~5 fps, i am not sure why. I've been paying atention to memory usage of the computer and maybe it has something to do with some antiviruses and some C# routines that were implemented on the last patch, still trying to figure it out tough. Let me fill you in on how this all works since it seems extremely hard for you to comprehend in spite of lag issues being brought up over and over again by tons of different people here. If you only have half the FPS or less when the game starts (also when you notice the choppiness) it means you will essentially be at 0 FPS around 30 minutes into the game as the FPS degrades. If you have normal FPS when the game starts, you should not have any lag throughout the game. In the meantime, just stop replying to my posts please as you are just trolling them now. I have zero respect for you as a player or anything else and really have no desire to discuss anything with you now or in the future. Other people can argue with me on the content of what I post here as I have respect for them and their opinions, but you sir are a waste of everyone's time as far as discussion is concerned as your crticisms are only filled with vague assertations and only backed up by the "hey I am a better and smarter person than you so I am right and you are wrong so go QQ new user" argument. Some games won't notice it as much because their gameplay isn't affected by low FPS (Nexus Wars / STD). Games that do notice it are all response-time dependent (ie: 1v1 Obs). We want to fix it too, and we're talking to Blizzard to make sure it gets looked at. EU/SEA/KR servers are working fine at this time, and we are looking to get 10 EU accounts so that players can resume inhouses and practice for the upcoming tournaments.
