Unlike most heroes who have a primary attribute and gain additional benefits from it, Zulgar's primary attribute is considered to be the one that is currently the highest."

Passive Effect: Zulgar gains primary attribute benefits from whichever attribute is currently the highest. In addition he gains an additional benefit based on his current primary attribute.

Dexterity Primary BonusGain 0.3 base movement speed

Intelligence Primary Bonus: You and all allies within 10 units of you have their ability energy costs decreased by 20%.

Level 2: Gains 10 Armor or Spell Armor, and 8% vulnerability to physical or spell damage. Gain 150 (+25% Primary Attribute) shields.

Level 3: Gains 12 Armor or Spell Armor, and 6% vulnerability to physical or spell damage. Gain 200 (+25% Primary Attribute) shields.

Level 4: Gains 14 Armor or Spell Armor, and 4% vulnerability to physical or spell damage. Gain 250 (+25% Primary Attribute) shields.

 

Strength Evolution Bonus 1: Reduces variable vulnerability by half.

Strength Evolution Bonus 2Reactive Carapace grants an additional 4 Armor or Spell Armor.

Level 2: Zulgar gains 30% increased attack speed for 5 seconds. Allies in range receive half this amount.

Level 3: Zulgar gains 40% increased attack speed for 5 seconds. Allies in range receive half this amount.

Level 4: Zulgar gains 50% increased attack speed for 5 seconds. Allies in range receive half this amount.

 

Strength Evolution Bonus 1:Enemies in range are taunted for 1 second.

Strength Evolution Bonus 2: Removes debuffs from Zulgar on cast.

Strength Evolution Bonus 3: Heals Zulgar for 30% of his maximum life over 5 seconds

Dexterity Evolution Bonus 1: Gain 50% bonus crit chance for 5 seconds

"Zulgar adapts and evolves based on his needs and the environment. Each time he levels this ability he chooses one attribute to gain which also gives him a stacking evolution bonus associated with that attribute. Evolution bonuses grant additional effects and bonuses to his base abilities. Can only gain bonuses to the same stat 3 times."

Level 0: Select either Strength, Dexterity, or Intelligence, and permanently gain 25 of that attribute as well as an evolution bonus corresponding to the attribute chosen

Note: Zulgar starts of with the ability to level his ult for free at level 1. This will determine which his primary attribute is at the start of the game.

"All Larva are prepared to become something else, and Zulgar is willing to flirt with that option.. at least temporarily."

Cooldown: 180 seconds

 

Level 1: Zulgar enters a cocoon for  3 seconds after a 0.5 second channel time. During this time Zulgar is removed from the game and unable to be damaged or effected by any abilities. The Cocoon has 2000 (+100% Primary Attribute) hit points. If the cocoon is reduced to 0 hit points, Zulgar returns early.

 

Strength Evolution Bonus 1: While in the cocoon, Zulgar regenerates 15% of his max life per second.

Strength Evolution Bonus 2: The cocoon gains 75% physical and spell resistance

Strength Evolution Bonus 3: The cocoon gains an additional 1000 (+100% Primary Attribute) hit points and lasts an additional 2 seconds.

Dexterity Evolution Bonus 1: When exciting the cocoon Zulgar gains true cloak for 10 seconds. This stealth broken upon attack or spell cast.

Dexterity Evolution Bonus 2When exciting the cocoon Zulgar gains 50% movement speed for 10 seconds.

Dexterity Evolution Bonus 3When exciting the cocoon Zulgar gains 50% life steal for 10 seconds.

Intelligence Evolution Bonus 1: Zulgar can reactivate the ability at any time to leave the cocoon early.

Intelligence Evolution Bonus 2: The cocoon can last up to 6 seconds

Intelligence Evolution Bonus 3: While in the cocoon Zulgar retains his vision and gains true sight vision.

 

Final Notes: Zulgar is meant to be a very versatile character that can be whatever his team wants him to be for that game. Whether that is a sturdy front line tank, a quick and aggressive melee assassin, an upfront support, or something in-between.

I actually planned to make a hero that could switch between all 3 attributes and change roles at will. This concept has some interesting ideas. My only issue is the suggested model. The larva has very limited animations, which means it won't allow this concept much leeway in terms of expressing itself aesthetically.
