SCV
well my point is if it is purely (n - 1), where n is the number of players in the game, people required for the vote kick what happens when i am reking 1v5 and they give me a loss? If you make ppl to waste time w/ 1 v 5, u deserve to get kick. Also, the exact formula is number of active players - 1. Active players are players in game. Active players are players in game. so it is ok to waste the time of the 1 by kicking him? he isn't forcing them to stay. He is merely trying his best to win which is the point of any competitive game... so you punish the one who is actually doing nothing wrong. Jaysi
He's not a feeder, he inflicts deliberate lag via some sort of spam programme, there are many ways to do it, however he perfected his technique practically stalling a game for as long as he wishes for egotistical reasons. If anyone should make the blacklist he surly is #1. However this won't prevent him from creating a free account and doing the same, which is why a vote kick needs to be implemented, Yaldi makes a good point, something that certainly should be considered, there will be times where 9 players total or less will need to make mutual decision (8/9) to evict a game ruin-er for whatever reason. The blacklist is nice and all but it is not the answer considering free accounts are that easy to make. Unless you can ban IP's I would concentrate on a flawless kicking system. You missed the joke (don't worry, I almost did too). Dresden is trolling adam(aka atomik) and saying he is a notorious feeder who should also be put on the kick list. Oh wait, no he wasn't trolling. It is better for the 1 to waste time than the 5 to waste time. It is just like would you rather w8 for 1 person to finish a pub (needed 2hours) and join inhouse when everything is done and 9 ppl alrdy in lobby or simply find a replacement. SCV
well you need 9/9 to kick, so I don't think it will be a big deal. As for 1 v 1, I will just make it not possible when active players are less than 3.
ShowNTell
thank goodness hes blacklisted. If he makes another account, who cares. Ban him again. He's 1 who cares about his badge (one of the biggest reasons why he would purposefully lag) so i doubt he'll want to do it again. As for the vote, the only valid argument i see against it is if its 2v1. Other than that, lets be real. If its 5v1 surrender or get the hell out the game. There is no reason why 5 people should have to waste their time with that. What if they care about their badge (which alot of people do). If you're the lone 1 that wants to "practice" something go make a private game and call people in it to practice with you or find a new pub. It's a complete waste of time and the only thing that the single individual wants is to complete some stupid feat, feel like hes Hercules and go brag about it. It's unnecessary and not fun for the other team. SCV
SCV
Next time, I think I should just reset his rating :)

Midknight
@Yaldi: Freedom and responsibility are two sides of the same coin. If a bunch of people are hanging out, and one wants to start smoking, but the rest don't want to be around someone who is smoking, who should leave? Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should and, often, part of being a responsible adult is being gracious and giving up what you'd prefer to do for the benefit of others. You say you want to try to "win" solo vs a larger opposing team; but if they want to play full teams, and they all leave, you haven't really "won", have you? The game may record it as a "win", but it's a technical win only; not by virtue of your ability in the game. If you don't have time to play another match, and the other team doesn't feel like sticking around for a lopsided game, the gracious thing to do would be to just leave since that's a no-win situation anyway. You'll have time to play some other time. It's hypocritical to say, "Rating doesn't matter, they can just quit if they don't want to stay," when you want to play a lop-sided game and would blithely call it a "win" if the other side all quits.
