    Frankly I agree with most of soed's points on this subject. I feel like this suggestion, while well intended, would much more likely lead to more try-harding and one set of people playing over everyone else which in as small of a group as we have would only lead to people quitting (myself for example. If I wanted tryhard toxic mentality I would stick to only playing ranked). If your intention is to grow the community there's one sure-fire way to do it (which requires a lot of effort) and one probable way to do it (little to no effort). The first way is to port the game to dota as I have suggested 300000 times (without actually taking steps myself, so I'm not trying to point fingers here. Just saying) before. Aside from an easy playerbase increase, a lot of sc2-based issues would be resolved. The second way is to actively hunt and recruit pubbers for "lower-tier inhouses" cuz there's like 16+ people in the primary lobby at times. There's several ways to go about this, all of them requiring the input of every one of us. When you play pubs, keep an eye out for players with potential (skill or personality-wise) and talk to them about the Church of INHAUS. Higher tier players will have to be patient and accept "awful" games and losses (because let's face it, nobody's going to get better if it's just the bottom tier players who still have things to learn themselves in with the new recruits). People will actually have to be patient and calm when "newbs" make classic or even idiotic mistakes and focus on helping them learn. Perhaps if we tell them what they could do better instead of calling them retarded flobs or sounding condescending they will enjoy the learning process and the inhouses and stick around.

    It will be critical for sure, I just don't know that I like having a vision item like that. Can't put into words what's wrong with it though, so I guess we'll just see.

    I remember spectre went through phases like this with his dispersion reflecting true damage and mitigating damage and shap, it was a mess. Maybe worthwhile to read through that process in the dota changelogs for balancing ideas. Also: isn't vorpal supposed to be a core/offlaner?

    I'm quite sure he did plenty of damage, add control and an escape. We did ignore him in teamfights, which merely resulted in us running across the map trying not to die to him while his allies respawned to defend hg. When he reflects more damage than he takes and reflects it to your WHOLE team and then he puts out dmg of his own, ofc if he just buys random tank items he's going to be unstoppable.

    Please keep in mind that by adding an iron talon mechanic speeds up junglers significantly and widens the pool of heroes that can be used for that role. I'm not sure AoS needs this development (are thors considered massive for the purposes of this item btw?). Still not sure about the increased vision effect on omniscience.

    I've clearly explained myself poorly through trying not to ramble, so I'm going to ramble a bit in this next post. The point I was making wasn't so much to reward inaction, but to allow space for it. All heroes need to gain a certain amount of exp/minerals over time, these amounts of course fluctuate depending on the role. When you wait to act or pressure a lane, you're generally not working towards this amount (unless you're making high % plays which I think aren't fully available in AoS - I might be mistaken there) and so you need to ration your time. Encountering an action rune can increase the % of any play you make, but sometimes (oftentimes, really) pressure comes from the threat of the play rather than making the actual play. Your point on adding more jungle camps is very legitimate and works towards this same end, however I feel the two aren't mutually exclusive (I've argued for increasing the size and build-up of the jungle elsewhere). I like the idea of heroes having more options than standing in lane. If returning to your lane has a high % of you feeding and a low % of offering rewards to you outside of leeching exp, you need to have other things you can do. When outmatched, rune control offers options. However, a hurty, mendy, speedy or wizzy rune (as they are now) might not be significant enough to turn the state of your lane around or enable you to gank another lane or help you dive a tower which 4shots you (...), while a lucky rune might help you bide your time. I'm actually having a hard time putting into words why a having a rune that's a band-aid to your overmatched mid or time-in-a-box for your roaming non-jungler especially as I don't play these roles in AoS.

    All of those examples reward action (aka being able to act upon encountering the rune) whereas the original concept buys you breathing time, which is incredibly valuable in any moba. It's not all about increasing the pace of the game, it's about rewarding the right action at the right time. Waiting can be the right action, and I don't see anything wrong with rewarding that through a rune (yes I am aware some gpms already do this).
